It's bad enough that some idiot comes up with a ricer like that.....you have to seriously wonder about the morons that are actually bidding on it!

Geez, haven't you all heard of a Bussard Ramscoop!? Named for the 20th Century Physicist and Mathematician, Robert W. Bussard.

The Bussard Ramscoop scoops up ions and particles in outerspace and converts it into fuel replenishment, such as low levels of deuterium can be distilled from the interstellar medium, as a contingency replenishment, thus helping a starship in distress to survive until it limps back to a space station.

Also the Bussard collectors are on the front end of the Starship Enterprise from the original Star Trek, on the forward end of each Warp Nacelle. It consists of 3 main assemblies, an ionizing beam emitter, magnetic field generator/collector, and continuous cycle fractioner. The curved nacelle endcap, the largest single-cast structure of the ship, is formed from reinforced polyduranide which is transparent to a narrow range of ionizing energies produced by the emitter. It is the function of the emitter to impart a charge to neutral particles in space for collection by the magnetic field. At Warp velocities the ionizing energies are transitioned into subspace frequencies so that the beam components can project out ahead of the starship, decay to their normal states and produce the desired effect.

You all are so barbaric and in the ice age, I swear! This was a NASA test, on the ground, just to make sure we can make it to Mars, sheesh!

And if all else fails...you can reverse the Polarity of the Neutron Flow!
