Where can I find the procedure for Hall Sender replacement?

I've removed the dist. cap and housing around the belts, and it Looks like I'm gonna have to pull the pulley to gain access to the sender.

I have a service manual (944-968) on CD, what page, which manual?

I also notice that the double sided belt dosen't have any "tension" on it. Normal?

I don't know about the 968 but on the 944S you remove the Hall sender from behind the housing. Look for a small metal plate with two allen screws holding it on. You may have to remove the cam cover to get to the bottom one.
I was lucky enough to have a small allen wrench and small fingers.

7, do the 2 capscrews thread into the pulley cover? I kindaa thought there were nuts on the other side, but after thinking about it, that would be pretty dangerous if the nuts fell off in that area.

I guess I'll grind off an allen wrench and give it a shot.

Yes they thread into the back of the cover.
