By the way, since the show opens to spectators at 9:00am, I think that might rule out getting together beforehand. So maybe we just meet there at GE Park? And since when we get out of there it will be Sunday afternoon, both suggested GTG places will most likely be equally as crowded (NFL, NASCRAP, and figure skating) so Brian, would your influence guarantee us a seating area at Willie's? It's no longer pre-season, so maybe Hooters is playing their starters now? Still open for suggestions, just trying to sort things out.

 

Last year's Porsche showing was a bit thin...I would say as many Porsches as possible should go! ..and show! You don't necessarily have to pre-register...at least you didn't the two years I've gone (as a spectator, sorry to say). The down side to this is I think people wait 'til the last minute to decide to go, and if there's a hint of bad weather, they don't.

 

Man, wasn't there a lof of good footage from Eric and I chasing Brian Perry thru the hills? I want to see that raw footage if it gets deleted, if you don't mind........

Don't forget that for a few years the GE event was held on the same day as the USGP over in Indy. I wound up at the race with many others I'm sure, hence dividing the crowd with commitments.
This year it is not on the GP weekend , hence the turnout might be better, especially if the weather is nice.

There was footage and some good footage of perry's car...
But There is other issues we are having to address (mainly volvo4life being lazy)

 

volvo4life being in school and fishey talking smack from chicago.. here i'll mail u the tapes you do it you skank. there is a ton of footage unfortunately it gets tedious and since really there was no highspeed because of the scavenger hunt it doesn't show the porsches in all there glory.. also everyone was spread apart but im working on it.. the main reason its not done is because i listented to fishey on a song request.. didn't fit with the rest so out it comes.

 

Like Doug says, you really don't have to pre-register. I was there a few years back, the weather was bad, and they were registering people as they were coming in, as late as 10:30-11:00. And yes, if you can possibly put your car in the show, do it. When more people see 944's in the context where they belong, that will be less people that ask, "Is that a Mazda?"

 

B.S. The song would fit just not with the song's you picked.You had no arguments with the song. Also If I had a cammera to get the footage off of I would have the tape's SKANK....So I don't know about you but school is just a "excuse" because I know you had lan parties, girls and **** between don't give me the "school line" anyways..... LOL, N-M your cars still in the shop and you have to drive like 2 hours each day which is a compleat waste of time.

It seems that if we want to go and show, we are going to have to get there and hope we can register. I want to show my car, but since the *** clown won't return my mail, I have no idea if it is gonna sit in the parking lot, or center stage.

OK kids, I got a trailer lined up! I plan to show since I'll be there too. xsboost printed a flyer from the link, 15 bucks to enter and that admitts 2 people too, or 5 bucks as a spectator. I hope it's not preregistered, I'll be at the gates with my car on a trailer. Hope to see you guys there!
