Default Control Arm Advice 968

So, after a 177K I think it is time to replace the control arms. All my research indicates I basically need a set of late offset 944's as the 968 aren't great at rebuilding. Well, I found a set from a forum member that had a new ball joint kit installed and are tight and everything seemed great. But what I was not aware of was that some kits use a longer (1 inch) pin on the ball joint. Ugghh. This was designed for lowered track cars. I just have an occasional driver. So, my options are. Look for another set, or buy a rebuild kit for the ones I just got. If anyone is in need of these longer pinned late offset control arms I would much rather get them to someone who could use them. I paid $300 for the set, not sure what shipping was. I just hate to tear into them as they are really nice. I can send my original 968 to a rebuild service as cores.

Where are you located? I might want to trade some regular-pin 944 turbo control arms for your long-pin ones.

Feel free to PM me.
