Default high oil pressure!!!

The car in question is a '88 951.
After the last oil change the oil pressure won't drop lower than 4.5bar at idle and goes up to 7 bar at wot. This is measured not going by the cluster gauge, with the engine up to temp. That rules out the sender and I also changed the oprv already with a new one.
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix??

Has it worked correctly since the oprv was replaced? It could be binding.

No , I changed the oprv because of this problem,i presumed the oprv was binding like you say but that's not it, the issue remains.

Is it possible that blowby from the cylinders is causing it?
