Its rough in early offset land these days for that reason alone and 16"s are a bit more rare in et23 vs 52+. Its a shame, the 15's are so light too, you can go with miata sized summer tires on 15's but its really to small and the width sucks.

I just found that Yokohama S.drives are available in 205/55/15. I have their predecessor ES100 in 215/60/15 on my car and they are very sticky in the summer (dangerously slick in the cold). This might be our best option for 15" summer tires. They are about 5% small, but that isn't too terrible.

If you are willing to give up a few more % circumference, 225/45/15 is where it's really at. You can get several competition-level autocross tires there.
