I met John Ritter at a restaurant in New Orleans (Greco's) back in '93. He was a genuine person, down to earth for a guy of his fame, real nice. Hope he had a nice ride.

I hope Mr Roper is waiting for him. Together they were hilarious on 3s. Hopefully he'll reunite with Joyce DeWitt too. I think she departed a few years ago.

Very sad indeed, I'll miss him on the new show he had.

The only thing departed on Joyce DeWitt, IIRC, is her career...

I dressed entirely in black today, a small, but very real gesture to a man I have a great amount of respect for. John Ritter is also a loss. So was Waylon Jennings, by the way, another one gone this year.

Regards,

I just rewatched "Skin Deep" which stars a bearded John Ritter as an alcoholic/womanizing author with writer's block. The movie was his funniest role, IMO, and that particular 'glow in the dark scene' was unsurpassed for many years until "There's Something About Mary" came along.
