What is the most hp you S2 owners have gotten out of your engine, and what mods have u done to get you there?

Just wonderin, cause im buying a built up S2 engine in about a week.

I don't own one (yet ) but just using the motor it's hard to get more than an additional 25hp out of it or so. However, turbochardged, these motors are capable of over 400hp.

Thanks for the link. I can't wait to get my dynoed, they guy im buying the engine off of claimed about 240-250...so we'll see. Anything's better than the 8v na.

Ps. engine has port/polish, bored over, cams, forged pistons...and a whole list of other stuff i have forgotten.

 

na, I don't think people just arn't looking far anuff into it...
Lets face it honda's are pushing 240hp out of 1.8l why can't we push 300?

 

Because Hondas are economy-tuned from the factory leaving a lot more potential. Plus the aftermarket for a Civic is so much more than an S2 that the prices aren't even comparable.
