Default Driver mirror clicking, broken motor?

Tried adjusting my drivers side mirror today and found that the mirror started click when I tried to move in any direction, almost like the gearing is stripped internally.

I checked out clark's and searched here, but I couldn't find a "how to fix the clicking mirror motor" .

Anyone out there seen this and how to fix the motor, the glass is fine, and the motor obviously gets power, so why now did this decide to crap out?
