Default speedo

Hi -anyone know if the speedometer from a 83' 944 will fit on a 81' 924 turbo? I know it's the same cable.

I was really scared to click on this at first. I thought that it might be a picture of you in a speedo.

Anyway to answer your question.....I have no idea. Sorry.

Yes the speedo will work. Ignore the GPH gauge take off on the back.

I've also found out that the tachs on most of the 944's come off of the same circuit as the coil. So these will work also.

Thanks SoCal. So other than the gph input it's physically the same size to fit in the dash and the gearing is the same?
