Default Anyone in on the NNJR Rally the 14th?

Anyone attending the NNJR rally? Im thinking of trying it out. What is it all about, are we on private roads or what?

What about the speeding and cops? The roads are blocked off?

Christian: this isn't like the WRC rallies you see on SpeedTV! It's a time-speed-distance rally, meaning you have to drive the course at normal public speeds over the course of the route. The closest one to the 'ideal' time (figured out by the rally meister) wins. Each car has a team: a driver and a navigator. The navigator reads encrypted directions. (ex: Turn first L after US1.)

Such rallies can be real fun: my wife and I tried it once, and it was fun!

I'll be back (and tired) from Lime Rock, so I'm skipping the rally. Gotta have priorities, ya know!

Try it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
