Convex Psgr Side Outside Mirror?
My 86's passenger-side outside rearview mirror doesn't do a good job of showing what's on that side of the car. It has a very small viewing angle.
Do the 87 and later cars have a convex passenger-side mirror, or are all the 944s "narrow visioned" on that side?

This might not help, but I used to have a crappy passenger-side mirror and bought a replacement that says: "objects in mirror are closer than they appear". The old one did not.
