Awww, I WAS going to say, wow, another Horizon Blue 968! I was planning to turn my HB 968 into a turbo and even made some progress before my other 968 got wrecked and I decided to re-shell that one and turbo it. Still don't have a shell... I'd have killed to have a 2nd Horizon Blue car!

Well Arena Red isn't for me but I hope you enjoy it. Paint job looks like it came out great.

Looks like a fun build. Are you going to keep the engine basically a 2.5L 951 engine? What kind of mods?

Looks awesome

Where are you going to use those stainless fasteners? Be careful if you intend to use them with aluminum, you might have issues with dissimilar metals, especially with stainless.

seen a few different versions of peoples home made lights and they all seem to have a flat plexi lens, so im trying to get a nice gentle curve over the plexi to fit in with the shape of the wing, had a few 210x297 offcuts to try, have ordered the 297x420 for the actual ones, but here what i managed

Looking good!

I'll be interested to see how your lighting mod turns out.

I prefer cloth seats over leather any day. And it is very rare to find full cloth seats, let alone sports, here in the US.

If any of my friends across the pond have any, let me know!

Try looking on ebay.de or ebay.co.uk

There are a number of seats posted there. Nearly bought a set of Grey Boxster Sport Seats for ~$650 from the UK. Quoted shipping = $350. How could you go wrong with that?

little update after a long while, moved house, changed career so havent had much time for the car, but cracking in with it now...

last week i ordered a vems system from raceboy on here, got my turbo back from the rebuild company with a few little tweeks, new 80lb injectors, various suspension parts, giant k&n and a little bit of painting

The 911 RS America had full black cloth sport seats. The front/sitting area was cloth and the sides and seat back were vinyl or leather. I almost bought a set but they are pricy.

Nice paint job and panel gap. Shame to install salt affected motor in there or are you going to clean it all up? What about the motor. Sticking with the stock 2.5ltr with the few changes you've listed? What size turbo is that?
