Scantool for 968
Hello. I recently picked up a 1993 968. Lovely car.
I have a T-OBD scantool for use with my 964. Works great with that car, but I can't get it to work with the 968. I currently have a CEL and an airbag warning light driving me nuts. Is there any software I can download to use this tool with the 968?
Thanks for any help.

Key on, Engine off, then Depressing the go pedal for 5 seconds, then lifting, will flash a code that you can decipher from the durametric sight. (It may be in the manual) the hold down the pedal does not work to reset but disconnecting the battery seems to clear the codes.
There was a thread on the secret airbag reset recently.

You can buy a round pin adapter to OBDII that goes to a laptop and there was some share ware that you can access the 968 codes through a 993 reader not perfect but it worked for my 968 here is the guy I got it from.

FWIW I couldn't turn off my 968's airbag light with Durametric. I de-pinned the wire (BK/WT?) at the connector (T41?) behind the glovebox, which sends the error signal to the cluster. Now my "!" light is free for other things. I hate hack fixes, but oh well.
