Only the early cars had pressed steel arms. Later N/A also has aluminum style arms.

Good news from the shock place! The Koni Yellow's should be in early next week. So, I'll drive carefully till then, and get everything taken care of at once. By next weekend, I should have what feels like a new car!

Ps--Are the sway bar bushings a no-brainer to be replaced during the control arm/shock change at the mechanics? Seems the parts are cheap enough.

I should buy a poster blow-up of that see-through 944, so I can see where all these parts fit in, and be less ignorant about stuff like this!

How would one know if their balljoints are bad? I already have my front crossmember off for the oil pan and would hate to have the ball joints go out shortly after I get an alignment.
