Default Boxster wheels

I tried a search. I have a line on a good deal for some Boxster 16x6" & 7" split spoke wheels. Are these pretty light? Are they forged? I have 15" Phone Dials now. These look like a nice wheel and should work well on my car wth spacers.

On a similar note, can you order some spacers to push them out an extra 1/4"-1/2" for better cornering?

Feel free to consider this a photo op if you want to show me what these look like on your car.

I used these on my previous cars (87 944S and 88 951) without any problems. You WILL need a mild spacer to get the to fit the fronts - I used a 1/8" spacer and they fit fine, no need for lug bolt changes. They are pretty light and I think look great on our cars. As far as width, I found them to handle fine with 205 mm tires and had less tramlining than wider tires I have used before.

My car is an 85.5 944 na. It has the 23mm early offset. I am sure it will take more than 1/8" spacer. I figured about 1" spacers would get it back to factory.
