Default pricing for 968?

I'm looking at a '93 968 supposable very clean with 121K miles. I look at the blue book pricing and it priced at 8K (low) to 12K (high). Whats a fair price?

Which blue book did you use? I like NADA (www.nadaguides.com) and Edmunds (www.edmunds.com), but some banks, like my credit union, use Kelly (www.kbb.com). I would look at all of them.

$11k sounds about right. Of course there's a LOT involved with the inspection to determine whether the car is 'clean' or not. Good luck!

It'll depend on service-if it needs a clutch, or belts, or whatever.

I have never seen even a poor example of a 968 at $12000 if you can get such a car buy it, of course do a search for the flaws of the 968 particularly the pinion issue and of course the original maintenance issues such as belts etc which can add up to several thousand but what a car

good luck and let us know how it turns out
