Default OT-GPS Radar Detector

About a month ago, after much deliberation, I bought a Uniden GPSRD. This is the best invention since transaxle cars. I drive about 25 miles each way to work on a heavily patrolled road. I have always used radar detectors of varying quality. Regardless of how much I spent, I always got a large number of false signals. Until now. The GPSRD stores where you get the same signal more than once and automatically stores and mutes the alarm in these areas unless a signal of different type or strength is received, then it signals. I no longer get false signals and, consequently, no longer find myself ignoring them. Now I know any signal is legit and needs heeding. In addition the range is about 2.5 miles, giving plenty of time to slow.
