Default dry leather

Hi, My first post here. I recently bought a '86 951. It hasn't been on the road for 15 years. The seats were dirty but had no tears or cracks. I used Griot's interior cleaner to clean the seats and they cleaned up nice. I have used Girot's leather care on them a couple of times now but the leather is still not very soft. I am looking for suggestions for a lether conditioner to restore the soft feel of the leather.

+1 on the Leatherique.

Apply the Rejuvinator liberally and rub it into the leather with your hands.

Roll up your windows and let the car bake in the sun for 24 hours.

After that use the Pristine clean with some microfiber towels to wipe them off.

Default leatherique update

I did get a bottle of each and have used them on one seat so far. The back and side surfaces softened up with just one application. I have two applications on the seat and back now and things are improving. The insert in the back is still stiff and will need more applications. I am happy so far.

I have the rest of the car back together. It is time to try and start it.

Are you using the Rejuvinator 1st and letting it bake in the sun for 24 hours?

the Rejuvinator product sounds great and i look forward to trying it on some of my leather interiors - but, how are they getting away with such a horrible website? if i didn't know about the product through a quality recommendation, their site would give me basically no confidence in their product line. you have to almost stumble across their shopping cart and realize you can actually buy their products on the site.

Yep. I massage it into the surface by hand and leave it in the back of my truck for the day. The truck has a cap so it is not in the direct sun. I am following the written directions that came with it. It states in the directions that multiple applications may be needed.

I am only working on the drivers seat at the present. I still have most of the interior out. It was dirty and smelled. I do have all of the mechanical parts back together. I am just about ready to try and start it.

I agree that the website is in need of a major update.
