Hmmm. I never did figure out why my passenger high beam didn't work (replaced the lamp and found no shorts in the area where the wires join the lamp) but have found another clue. I noticed today that the passing signal, pulling back on the high beam lever with the lights off and recessed) does not light the passenger fog lamp! Whaddya think?
Also, the turn signals (as of today) blink 3-4 times and then remain illuminated without blinking. All bulbs work. Or they stay illuminated without blinking. Same lever involved as the highbeam/passing signal, another clue or coincidence?

check the relay for the turn signal. It is located in the fuse box, driver's side back of the engine bay, not sure which one exactly, but its listed on the door of the fuse box.
If that doesn't work then the stalk/switch is at issue, you always take the switch apart and clean it out. Good luck.

Hey Thanks everyone - the turn signals needed a new relay. The tip on the ground got me jiggling wires - the problem is in the fuse box! I now (for now anyway) have high beam on both sides!
