Back again with my electrical gremlins. 1984 944
I'm back again with my 1984 944 that was a ton of electrical issues. I got another used harness that's in better condition but this one has been more tampered with than my first one. GOod thing is that it's got no burnt connectors as I can find. Which was the doom for my last one. This harness is from an '83 model with AC.
I'll update this as we go along, but for now, here's a few things I want to start with.
1. Removing the AC wiring. I'm never gonna install AC in this car so I just want the whole wiring system for that out. Anyone have a clue witch wires I should throw away?
2. Getting my lowbeams to light. The highbeams are ok. Where to start? I'm guessing this might be my switch as I had the same issue with my old harness. How do I go about checking it?
3. Taillights won't come on. This worked in my last harness. I think I have it all connected, but I'll check. If it's all there, any tips on where to begin troubleshooting?
I'll solve this for now, that way I won't overencumber myself with too much like I did the last time.
