924 gts clubsport help please!
 

hi all-i've finally got my hands on the holy grail, and i'm trying to find a few bits-it's missing the right hand bumperette-does anyone know what car it came from, or where i can get one? also, the towhook...

i also need the spare tire, which i assume was just regular 924 stuff, and then the dash is cracked-any idea what car the dash came from? any help would be great! thanks!

Pretty sure its a standard 924/early 944 dash, don't know about the bumper bits though. You can get a recover kit from Classic 9 leather.

Listen buddy, you can't just walk in with that kind of car.... without telling us more about it!! Lets see some pics. Its beautiful.

+1 on pics and is that really a transformers sticker on the hood ?

hahaha...ok ok....it's a porsche racing sticker on the hood-the car used to belong to bruce leven in the 80's, who was a privateer racer....i have some other pix from when it was in germany, before i got my grubby hands on it....factory roll cage, 935 seats, perspexpalooza, etc...

now it just needs a good going over...

Have you driven it on the street or track? Curious about wind noise with that door glass design.

(I know, I know... race car... but still curious.)

Get a new dash, they have them....the GTS CS has a different dash as the rollbars go trough it...but they can probably help.
You can probably also get a bumperette there.

Since it was towed, check if the bumperette is not in the car somewhere..
It also looks like its missing the passager side mirror...and you should ask at werk924 if they can help you with the headlight covers as ducktape looks wrong on them.

Dash is probably unique, so foam repair and recovering is the best bet.

This GTS is different than the one i saw, the one i got to sit in had the standard 924 dash and no roll cage.

Yes, this is a GTS Club Sport while the one in your picture is a GTS.
Club sport version got a factory installed aluminium roll cage.

Dash is the same as any early car, and the bumperette should be the same as any Euro ROW N/A. They pop up here from time to time or on PelicanParts. But could also look on Ebay.uk
