The shocks appear to be correct. The passenger side is completly metal at the top, metal on metal. The drivers side is a plastic housing, I pulled the top off and it was plastic inside. Should I have a constant 12 volts to the passenger side shock? Also a small resistor between the passenger side lead and the shock fixes the issue, but not for the rear hatch opening and turning the light on.
