I don't have a lot to add here, except that I have a WRX too, and I still drive my 944 every chance I get.

Adjusting the rear eccentric is difficult without a big old breaker bar. I'd suggest an impact wrench. This how-to covers the subject well.

You do not "simply readjust the rear tortion bars" It is a pretty involved job.

There aren't a lot of poewr mods worth the effort.

The best way to get more power and a turbo fron end is to get a turbo.

The best way to get more speed form a N/A 944 is to educate the driver, improve the suspension and brakes and educate the driver.

Educating the driver is probably the most enjoyable modification, it is rather cost effective, it makes everything else more efficient as you become more focused on what you need over what you think you need, and it is easily transferred to other vehicles you may drive.
