Nope. Easy here. If you know the right guy. Alls I would need to inspect it is a new windshield.
Let me know. I know if you get her, you'll love her Like I have for ten years.
Still freaks me out it's been that long.

I wish I liked it .. I want an american project that could be done in a month, but I don't think I could make any money and I don't think I would drive it. Hope it finds a nice safe home though.

Man, I had one of those, well actually mine was a 78 Dodge Aspen, but same drivetrain, indestructible is right! I replaced a starter and an altenator on mine, think they cost $25-$30 each from the autoparts store. I drove that car on some long trips....Orlando, FL to St. Louis, Mo straight through....Saratoga Springs, NY to Jacksonville, FL..straight through. If you want an old point A to point B beater, you won't find one that is more reliable.'

She is great Rob.
Not really a project car Red. Though my plan was triple webers and a dual exhaust. Even thought of a twin turbo (Guys have single turbo's and and superchargers running 450+). Think the triple webers would have sounded to cool for school.
Brrt. If you want her the soonest I could do it it is the weekend after this.
My thinking is, you come up here. We spend the afternoon/evening puttering around on her, getting the rubber, running her around. I'd recomend you get a windshield before the 8 hour drive home. You can sack on my counch and drive home the next day. (Think it's important you learn her a bit before heading on a long trip, and doing an 8 hour drive after a flight up and all the other stuff is a bit much).
I don't get home till next Friday, so if you want me to send you the paperwork so you can get temporary plates and the like, probably be the following week. I can send anythign you need out late next week.

Alright Sid. Let me see what I can do. Because as of now, if the old man can't find something by next week then I'm coming to New Hampshire. Not having a car is getting rediculous. I'm also getting tired of girls giving me a ride to work....bah. Anyway, thanks Sid!

OMG....I just got home a few minutes ago and what do you all think I heard when I got in? Son, we're getting you a new car...YAY!!! God, I wanted Al Bundy so bad. If you don't get rid of it Sid, keep me in mind if you ever want to get rid of it again. Thanks Sid, sorry!!

Why not see if you can torch it? Give it the old Viking funeral, or one of those rafts going down the Ganges sendoffs. Maybe the local fire department could use it as a training tool-light it up, let it burn, hose it down. Let the old girl go off in a true 'blaze' of glory.

I kinda like the "viking funeral"... I have a friend with a Sony rCam and we could shoot in slow motion... or "borrow" one of the camera's from CBS and shoot live/slow simultaneously.. I have all these old fireworks and blast caps i dont trust anymore...
j/k..
Geez Sid- Lose your garage space?? or moving?

Don't know if I cold bear it.
Nope Chris. Check first post. Might be getting an 87 325 for low dough.
Eyal. Definitely a great college beater. You sure you want to fly half way across the country and drive back for an 80 Duster. Have to admit that's more the kind of blaze of glory I'm thinking of. Off into the sunset and all. Make sure you read back with it's issues.
Otherwise your welcome to it. More than willing to spend the time with you to get it into shape for the trip.

I'm still not sure myself if its possible to do, but if it is, it would be a fun trip, and i get to see the country. as for its issues, if i remember correctly its got a crack windshield, needs new motor mounts, and a flat, but you will add in a non flat correct? or am i mistaken. about the windshield, looks like it shoud be fine to just drive that around here without getting pestered by police. the motor mounts, how much are they, how much time will it take, and would you be willing to help me get that done before the drive. would you be confident the car would make it back nivcely, and then give me a nice 3 winters of sevice without a lot of $$$ in maitenance? how will it hold up in the ND winter? thanks a lot.
