As much as I'd like to have a truck, especially for PA winters, the Duster is a tad bit more in my price range. Its gonna take another hour and a half for the old man to wake up.

Yea, I'm not gonna wake him for fear of his wrath. But I can get a cheap flight to Boston for 59 bucks and that shouldnt be too far away I don't think.

You could donate the Duster to charity, and write it off on your taxes.

Bronco is an excellent deal for someone on Rennlist! Good luck, Sid!

Check the forums... they are not Rennlist, but some people visit. It sucks to send one away. I have a Mopar that I will restore, someday, if it has not retuen to the earth by then.

Alright Sid, have any pictures of the 'ol Duster? The Chrysler my dad was looking at got sold. As long as the thing would be safe for the long haul, I'd be okay. Let's see what we can get worked out. BTW, I'm selling my car for 2500

How long are you going to be in Pittsburgh? If you'll be here over the weekend we should meet up for a bit. PM me if you want to get together.

Nope, not a TR7, this monster:

Now I'm no fan of these things, but someone out there loves them like we love our Porsches, and sh!tboxes or not, they are rare, and works of art, not like the dull cars that manufacturers are making today. At least it had a pesonality (even if it was that of a jerk)

His had these awsome spoke wheels though like on old ferrarris, and those, for the most part, were still good. I imagine the spokes probably needed straightening, like a bycicle wheel, but they were all there. Those alone would probably be worth tons to someone restoring one.

Julie: Doubt the charity would take it. You'll understand when I post pictures later. I've had guys who refused to work on it, which I never understood.

Perry: If Brrt doesn't take it I will

Brrt: I'll get you some pictures later today, got to go out and get an oil change on the 44. And of course I'll pick you up in Gomorah (944), what else would I do.

Epic: I'm in Pittsburgh Friday and Saturday night. Colleauge will be in town Saturday noght, can't be a late night as I have a 6:30 flight in the morning. BE at WVU during the day.

If your up for something give me a call on the cell 603-860-4906, or toll free 877-762-8378

Awesome Sid. As much as I'm waiting in anticipation to see Al Bundy, I'm also quivering with fear . Well, time for me to go to work. Unfortunately, Lord & Taylor's hasn't installed computers with internet access next to the registers. I'm like a heroin addict with this board.

Okay here ya go.

So heres the bad points.
Windshield as you can see.
1 Flat tires (As discussed $100 gets you the car with two bargain basement tires on the rear)
Flat battery: We'll check her out if you think it needs replacing I'll give you the one from the Bronco.
Support in the drivers side door is proken at one end giving a nice bwang bwang bwang when you shut the door, and the window isn't square in it's track. Quiter with the window cracked a little.
It appears that some wasps have decided to check out the passenger side door handle. I'll let you have them free of charge they're pretty cute (kidding well Napalm the *******)
She's been sitting for awhile, not a good thing, but the exhaust is a cobbled together repair so a catback repair will take a couple of hours and like $150 (replaced about 7 years ago)
Because she has a racing cam she has to Idle at about 1200 RPM's in neutral, drops to about 700 in drive, still high but you have to do it.
You have to hit the AC buttin to get heat (Go figure, heat works fine though)
Needs motor mounts

Good points
/6 with a 727 transmision. Absolutely bulletproof drive train.
Radiator is about 5 years old (Holed it in a parking lot and replaced it in 30 minutes in a hotel parking lot) actually runs too cool, I would recomend a a high temp thermostat.
Starter is about 3 years old (Replaced in 30 minutes as well and didn't even have to get under the car)
She starts and drives fine, though since she's been sitting might take a little the first time.
Because of the Cam she has potential, a nice two barell about 450 cfm would really open her up.
Tranny shifts like new.
Lowered and you'd be surprised how well she handles.
Real easy to work on.

Your biggest problem in getting her home is that she looks like a hunk of crap, and some cops don't like that, they'll assume she's a danger. On a long drive home that's an issue.

Let me know.

PS I have the missing trim pieces removed during my failed attempt at body work. Didn't ruin anything, just didn't improve anything.

God, I want that car just because it is the epitome of Al Bundy. I'm just really worried that I'm going to be sh*t out of luck if I bring it back and it won't pass inspection or emissions. The car does look like hell but all I want is a reliable beater. *Sigh* let me see if i can figure out what to do. I mean, 250 for a running car ain't bad at all. Is New Hampshire tough on inspections? I wish I still lived in PA it would make things so much easier.
