Timing Reference Sensor Signature?
I suspect (hope, considering the alternative) I have a bad timing reference sensor since I am getting no pulse to the injectors (Noid light test). I get a solid 12v, no pulse. I get about 625 Ohms at the DME harness (Pin 25 and 26) but am not sure what to look for to verify a pulse is arriving at the DME. Any advice appreciated. (BTW car is 83 944).

12 VDC at the injectors tells me that your DME relay is working at least for the first set of contacts. This also provides power to the DME.
The reference sensor, one toward the front of the engine, is the trigger for the injectors and the spark. Should be some resistance between the center pin and one of the outter pins. The other outter pin is a floating shield -- no reading.
Also check that the sensors are adjusted to 0.8mm from the pins and teeth on the flywheel.
Best way to check the sensors is with an oscilloscope. 2.5 volt pulse.
