I am trying to switch the wheels from my old (wrecked early '85 na) to my recently purchased '84 944 na. I need help the wheels are some kind of gold bbs wheels. The front ones come off fine. The rear ones dont! i got all of the lug nuts off the rear but it looks like one of them is different, it left behind a round thing ( same diameter as lug nut but it has 5 little holes in it. Is there a tool that i need or a special key? Help anyone i have already contacted the people i bought it from they are looking. I am putting fuches on it, i will get some pics once i have it done the new car looks amazing though. Pics and info to follow in another thread. Please help me though i have 2 cars jacked up in my garage

I have the same wheel nuts. I think BBS said there were about 67 patterns they used so it will be tough to find the correct mate for cheap. You can go to a tire shop and they will get them off.
If you want to try it yourself get a socket that is a little smaller than the round nut and smack it on with a hammer. You will likely ruin the socket so get a couple. Good Luck!
