Take a look. Fellow Rennlister 951and944S is painting his daily driver Coral Red. Terry correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you find that there were only like 6 968's made in this color? The 944S is simply beautiful in this color. Also notice the newly acquired Rims and Yoks. The color is so much more vivid and deep in person than you see here. This car will become Terry's son's first car. What a lucky break.
Looks like there are 3 Terry specials around now. It's an exclusive club but worth the price of admission.

Hey, thanks for posting those Scott.
When I was younger than my son I used to sit in my dad's car (1966 Ford Fairlane GT convertible) and he'd tell me how he was gonna give it to me one day. but due to extenuating circumstances that day never came.
I promised my son this car years ago and vowed to live up to that promise.
It's only now that I'm realizing what a big deal it is to him, his friends and schoolmates, etc. He's 15 years old and Scott and a few other listers here can attest honestly that he's pretty special especially when it comes to cars.
I've never been afraid to put tools in his hand and make him give something a try and he always delivers.
I might add that although I helped him throughout the bodywork/modifications, he's had a hand in the entire procedure and has painted EVERY part of this car himself.
Special kid, special car......he deserves it.....!

awesome story! looking forward to seeing the finished product. i'll bet the valve cover would look sweet painted to match the car, and the PORSCHE in silver to match the wheels/rest of the engine.

Yea, your right Terry. I don't know any other 15 year old more deserving. He is doing a great job on that car, can't give him all the credit though, he's got a good teacher. Lookin' good, can't wait to see the finished product. Who knows maybe one day we'll have enough of these around to have our own 944fest, southern style.....
