I'm using stock 15" pd's. Guess I could cut them down. The kla's have five inches of shock travel, of which only about four are used. Let think of a good price for you on the Koni's.

So I am now selling a brand new set of Koni yellow rears if anyone is interested, I bought them to fix my bouncing rear end and then came to the conclusion that the torsion bars were getting old. They only have one thousand miles them.
I really don't understand what you are saying, what is wrong with the adjusters being higher up? Wouldn't they rub the wheels if they are lower?

So, mine are arriving today, I may install them tonite if I can't stand to wait until saturday. Did you see any change in ride height at all?

oops. I just thought about my statement and realized that the springs are on the other side of the wheel well, so they can't hit. duh!

tifo, when you mount them you will see the UPPER clearance problem with the lock rings, it can work, but for easier access having the ring a little lower would help. P.S. I like what what you did with your car.

one more thing about the coilovers. let me make sure I understand. Do they mount with the adjustment ring/nut for the springs towards the top? If so is that so that you have clearance with the spring and the body? And if you had 8" springs then the adj. ring/nut would be lower and have even more clearance, right?

Dave,

You are correct. I just instsalled mine. There would not be enough clearance with the spring on top. I'm going to post a quick initial review in a separate thread.
