Zermatt is definately a beige silver (compared to Polar Silver of 968 vintage). Even the touch-up paint I had special ordered was the same off-silver color. Check out this photo of my old 88--note the color difference between the car, and the rims:

dude, i have an 83 with 26k on it. babied/garaged its whole life. definitely whitish in the right kind of light. porsche did wonders with the paint selection, i do suppose it looked kinda beigeish in different lights. i love that color (or any other porsche metallic for that matter).

You have a Diamond Blue Metalic 88 special edition?? The SE's I know of ONLY came in Zermatt, or black. I had the brochure with all the details, and there were only those 2 colors. Was your car re-painted?
Michael--I gave the touch up paint to the new owner. I got a small brush on bottle, from paintscratch.com. I think it was $15.
