Angry Leatherique?...Booooo!!

This is the second time I've used Leatherique, so I think I am qualified to make the following observation:

Not impressed!

I followed the instructions to the letter, wasted 2 days oiling the passenger seat, and letting it sit in the hot sun (greenhouse like effect). Then I used the cleaner to "massage the dirt out". What I got was a seat looking dry and no softer than before I started!? I had to put some Lexol on there to get the shine/softness back into the seat surface!

The whole Leatherique system is counter intuitive. First, you oil the hell out of the seat, which is fine. Then, you use their cleaner to remove the dirt, followed by rinsing the cleaner off via a moist towel. By the time you rinse the cleaner off, you have taken all the oil off too?

Lexol is better, IMHO, and FYI.

I've used it and thought it worked very nice. I will use it again when I get another P-car.

I wasn't that impressed with Leatherique, either. The recent problem I had with my seat is going to be virtually impossible to remedy anyway, but we did have a chance to do an impromptu comparison yesterday at the GTG. I had already treated my passenger seat with Leatherique several times and saw the results of that. Brian brought his Griot's Rejuvenator to try on the seat and though you can still see the trouble spot on the seat, the Griot's made the rest of the seat look lots better than the Leatherique with just one application. I am gonna' start using the Griot's seat goo from now on. And Brian, thanks, I'll give your bottle back the next time I see you or if you need it sooner, let me know.
