Probably not what you are looking for Paully, but all the Drivers Manual has in it is 12V, 63A - clearly before battery manufacturers starting advertising huge cold cranking amps

better than nothing Glen,

At the moment, i have a Century battery.

54A, 90RC, 500CCA.

It cranked better than the Bosch that got replaced. but always gave me issues on hot start.

I looked at the Bosch catalogue.. found the part number listed under 944 turbo.
(S3+) 56318 - 63A, 110RC, 540CCA Which is already better than what i had. They also listed an alternative in their better series (S5)
(S5) 575.035 - 75A, 120RC, 680CCA

Not sure about you guys who have front batterys. but i can only run so many sizes. The one i have now is the widest and tallest at 279mm x 175mm x 175mm

The one previously was a little smaller. I don't think my car has cranked this fast in a long time.

The only thing you need to say when buying a battery for the 944 at the parts store is "I need a group size 91 battery" It's just like buying battery's for your TV remote "I need double AAs"

Does Group 91 automatically have a central venting system (hose)?
