I've searched the database and yes I plan to clean the engine and find the source but perhaps this sounds familiar and you can help me with where to look or what to do.

60K mile car with full engine rebuild 17K ago by reputable race shop (1989 951)

Let it set for about 2 weeks due to bad weather, etc. two moderately sized sticky puddles accumulated under the previously leak free car. One near the back of the engine and one under the transaxle.

It appears that as long as I drive the car occasionally no further leaks are occuring.
