Hi, thanks to all with sound advice so far from this forum.

Currently, I am looking at an out of state used 944 S2 cab that's around 2 hrs away from a Toyota dealer. Has anyone purchased a used Porsche from a non-Porsche dealer and would they customarily allow a PPI by Porsche specialist? How would one come about getting the car to the Porsche specialist near that car dealer? Flat bed tow?

I would call the dealer and ask, if they want to make the deal happen they will assist. The dealer would most likely have someone drop the car off, or the shop would have someone pick the car up. I wouldn't worry too much about the logistics.
