I know of a Dr. Kevorkian in Detroit, does that help??

Why dont you just rent a car? It's gotta be less than flying.
My Bro works for Delta - he always flies standby..its cheap $$, but you gotta like hanging around airports.

We only wish you knew him better Chris

Like I said. Looks like I'm going to plan on driving but make a last minute check on flights. that $320 with a layover in Pittsburgh is pissing me off so much I may never fly again.

Anyone know a good land route to London?

Sid,

I guess I am too late. I was going to suggest you check out arriving in Akron/Canton and driving from there. I have taken many flights from Akron/Canton as opposed to PGH because of fare variations--sometimes as much as $500.00--most of the time I was getting on the exact same flight that originated in PGH anyways(with extra $$$ in my pocket).

You could do the following:
Drive to Canada, go left until you get to Alaska.
At Alaska (this step is important) keep going left across the mythical land bridge (you know the one the Indians came across on) into Russia
continue left until you reach France. At France you can either ferry or chunnel, it is up to you.

The other alternative involves some Monster Garage tactics and I dont think a 944 would float very well. :?)

The nice thing about my New York to Alaska plan is the mileage reimbursment, you could buy your own plane when you get back!

MAtt

Unfortunately the London trip is personal

And were planning on going in November. I might be able to drive straight north until the compass flips and and up in on of the Scandanavian countries.

Of course the real question is, "How long would it take on the Segway?"

Oh please I could get to WV with the 944 faster than I could get across town in the Segway.

Don't work for them anymore BTW
