Just thought it could be interesting to find my 3 older 944

1. 1983 guards red, tan leather interior, may have still had gold BBS wheels, bought at Sunset Porsche 1982/83

2. 1986 diamond blue or sapphire, pretty sure velour stripped interior, bought in 1986 rapid City SD Porsche dealer

3. 1987 diamond blue or Sapphire bought oct 1988 from Tucson dealer, forget interior.

All 3 cars were traded in Omaha area after 1-2 years of use.

Owners book would have initial identifying info.

Thanks for bringing back memories, all 3 were great cars.

I am from the Omaha area, lived there for 24+ years. There are next to NONE on the roads there currently. If you can find the VIN #'s you may be able to call Porsche of Omaha and have them see if the cars have been into the dealership ever. That may be your best bet short of going to the DMV and requesting more info. Even then, you will need the VIN #'s

 

Get the VIN's and run carfax/autocheck and see where they are now registered (if they have been) and then start calling around.
