ok, clear this up for me - offset is measured where, like from what to what?

so i gather i'll need spacers. i dont mind having to get them, it'll just take a bit for me to get hold of some.

now before i trade my fuchs away, confirm that these wheels are forged, i know the ones on turbo s' are, are all the flat dish wheels forged?

thanks,
-Michael-

I don't know which wheels you're looking at but the clubsports are forged, the D-90's are cast.
Wheel Enhancement has good pics of all of them.

they are 928 flat dish wheels, like 944 Turbo S and later S2's had. 7 small spokes, and the front is like one big dish... hence the name.

If the offset is 85mm you'll need a 62mm spacer or thereabouts. Don't forget longer studs.

If it is those wheels, I think that they look weird on a 944. Why spend all of that money on spacers and get rid of your fuchs for those? Even if your fuchs are only 15", they are a better looking wheel, IMHO.

I would dispute the forged part. Too intricate of a shape.

Forging requires that the part be hammered. Rods can be hammerd because of their shape. The shape of the rim part of the cast wheel means that you can not hammer the area between it's ridge and the spoke or dish part of the wheel.

Now if they said pressure cast I would agree.
