On another note:
We have a nice goodie bag for the rally winner. So far we have a couple posters, cd's of the factory manuals and the parts program, a "Porsche Support Vehicle" window sticker, and a 'special prize' for either Wade or UDPride. You'll understand when you see it.

well you know how it would say there was a very slim chance i could make it down there after work?
well no chance in hell now. the fan belt pulley half, closest to the generator is shot. i tightened it the other day, then the next day it was grinding against the generator. when i took it off to readjust it this is what
the inner pulley half looked like...
same pulley half flipped around to show the other side
so one pulley half is ****ed up completely.. might as well order the full set
this is what they should look like
i ordered 2 new pulley halves and a new hub, and should be spending saturday putting them on.
have fun at the gtg. lets try to meet up for the cincy show on the 21st

last I heard early Thursday the car was nearing completion and that I was to expect her on Friday..I didnt say anything then d/t jinxing it..well wouldnt you know its been delayed till Tues/Wed next week. I will be at the next one later in the year, there is no reason it will be anywhere but the garage after this...I was really looking forward to seeing some guys I met and some that I hadnt yet. Next time Tifo! Drink one for me boys...
