17" Cup 1's and Cup 2'S

18" OZ's

A few sets of Fikse's to add but they are also 18's

I've been running 16x8s with 225/50-16 front, 245/50-16 rear for DEs. The balance is very, very nice. However I'm running the BFG G-force Sport Comp 2s. They get greasy when hot and limit the car's ability. They are a 340 tread wear, so its really no surprise there.

Next year I'm going to run a pure track tire in 225/50-15 on the cookies. Used tire sets are sometimes available online.

Can you fit 225/50-15 on 7" rims?

Lots of people put 225/50s on the 15x7 Cookies.

But, unless you run a really aggresive alignment, cookies won't fit on a 968 as they are the lower offset for earlier cars. I don't think they'll fit over the brakes to begin with.

I would recommend whatever is forged, which is probably the Fikse (maybe OZ) set.

Good point on clearance, I have S4 calipers. Im leaning to OZ's with 245 Front and 275 rears. Thank you

My bad. I failed to read the "968" part.

I think i will run 245F/255R 18's in Hankook RS3's on the OZ's, just for grins and see what happens.

I would base my decision on tire availability in the appropriate sizes and, of course, their costs.

The cookie cutters are the wrong offset for a 968... and they also won't fit over the brakes.

I suggest you break out the bathroom scale and see which rims weigh the least. I think it'll be the D90s.

D90's if you want the lightest you can get out of what you have, The cups are a bit heavier, however if you can put wider rubber on the car they will be worth it for auto-x. 225 is not enough, i'd really love to go 255 all around on my s2 for Auto-x. I run 17's on the car, but the 10-spoke 996 wheels are actually lighter than the d90's so its a win for me.

17x9's on all for corners running either 255's or 275's on all corners. A square setup works well on these cars.

Still going to go with the 245/255 set up in RS3's. Especially since I have them.

The OZs are the same weight, maybe lighter than the D90's. I don't think the D90's will clear the front calipers anyway and I only have 964 sizes in the 17's.

This own't be quite square but close. I'm not an AX guy, do DE's so it will be an interesting fun test. Even with the 964 setup, 225/255 the car is remarkably easy to drive compared to my 911's.
