Need a prayer or two for a fellow Porsche owner - my dad.

Like Geo said, if you need any of us here in town to do anything let us know.
As others have said too, the technology in healthcare today is just amazing, but having a loving caring and supportive family is about the best thing going.
My mom turned 83 this year. She is very much like my 84 944. Has had alot of parts replaced, amazes me that she starts and runs as good as she does, but the original design and build was so good they last through the ages.
It is easy to have faith when everthing is going good, just like sailing with a gentle breeze, the real test comes with the storms.
Much love, serenity and prayers to your family.

I wish everyone well, please let us know how it goes. I know the feeling of how much stuff like that sucks, my dad was diagnosed with cancer in his neck and ear about 5-6 years ago. Underwent almost two years of cancer therapy, he now suffers from high bloodpressure and was close to needing a similar operation. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer about 10 months ago, and is finishing up her treatment right now. Again, i hope all goes well.

About 6 years ago, my grandfather suffered the same type of heart attack, due to the same reasons. He had the quadruple-bypass surgery and turned out OK. After his surgery, his diet will have to change and he'll have to start taking more pills. As long as he comes out of surgery OK He'll be fine.
Best wishes

I know I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but I have met your courage and faith. I have lost a sister and mother and my father has had the bypass and just had his second pacemaker put in(the first one was wrong). The only thing that fills these large voids in our life is the well wishes of family and friends. I am always lifted by the wishes from people I would least expect. I work in sales and when I lost my mother people who I work against helped me push forward and that not gave me a great lift in spirits by renewed my faith in others.
Please accept my sincere thoughts and prayers to you and yours!
