Default cleaning my fuchs

ok i used tire foam a while ago, and the runoff hit my fuchs and now the outer silver ring has some stains on it, ive tried vinegar and turtle wax chrome/metal polish and these havent even started to get rid of the stain. what can i use? i want these to be shiny like my boss' fuchs on his 87 911! hes out of town right now so i cant ask him...... (my fuchs are the black w/ silver ring, as shown in my avatar)

also, what metal is used to forge the fuchs rims? i was guessing some sort of aluminum alloy...

thanks!

Tire foam is a no no i have found out.... It has happened numerous times to me as well... My only idea could be to try some Mothers Mag Polish... stuff cleans up most metals pretty well... in the future try to get the spray kind of rubber cleaner... all you do is spray it on and then wipe it off... no mess with the rims...
