Default CLUTCH PEDAL ISSUE

'88 944 N/A Clutch pedal occasionally sticks about halfway up. Trans still shifts fine even half way but I need to pull it up with my foot to return it to full up. Doesn't happen all the time. Did a search but only found pedal going to the floor. Any ideas as to the problem

My 87 951 does the same thing. Has not happened for a month. Figured it was from sitting in the garage most of the summer.

It used to happen to me A LOT. Never figured out the real cause. I tried adjusting the spring and stuff down there. Eventually it completely went away, hasn't happened the past year or so... The only thing I can say for sure (not positive it's related) is I changed my master/slave cylinders and it has never happened since around that time...]

The good thing about it is that it the point it sticks is out of the clutch engaging zone, so anything above it is dead space anyway, so it won't affect your driving.
