Default Performance Cam

Intake: 270 Duration .468 Lift -- Exhaust: 260 Duration .438 Lift

Does this sound like a good setup? Is this mild, medium or extreme for the 951? How much difference will it make in HP? Local shop has one for sale...

Thanks

Ask then what clearance they used in measuring that cam....

The cam should be the very last upgrade you install. On a stock car without flow-increasing mods like free-flowing MAF/MAP upgrades, head-porting w/larger narrow-stem valves, 4-1 exhaust headers, you might see 10hp. On a high-boost modified car, it's worth maybe 20hp? But it steals low-end torque to make high-end HP. You'll end up with a tonne of turbo-lag with an on/off Dr.Jekyl/Mr.Hyde type of powerband.

Ah I see.. So in the whole scheme o things, it really isn't a daily driver thing? I'm thinking other mods will work better w/o the cons of the cam...

Thanks Danno!
