I have Mother's RRR. I have used it. You have to spray it on, wait a few minutes and wipe it off. After the rubber is cleaned off I would follow up with Klasse AIO. Now I just skip the RRR.

Bestine. It's rubber cement thinner and you'll find it at art supply stores. Zippo lighter fluid works pretty good as well.
