What did you use to record and where did you put the mic?

Mic was on the passenger side of the car, tucked between the bumper and rear valance. Any closer and it distored. For the intake, it was by the brake booster.

I used a Shure SM57 mic, Mackie portable, Alexis compressor, and a mini disc. Clips were quickly edited on CEP2k.
