im thinking about doing it in the future(not so near $$$)this would look mean cause i'd be the first in my state with it on my 951.(not too many around anyways)if the doors are that heavy then i might have to get the delux kit where it uses hydraulic shocks.thanx again for the feedback-wayne

why is everybody so against this mod? The aesthetic lines of the 944, and the door placement against the long nose, it would look cool.

 

Those are gullwing (300SL, DeLorean) doors.

I love italian cars...especially Lambo, but i do not think scissor doors would complement the 944 style. I do however think Mclaren and LeMans style swing up doors might be interesting. There is a Hamann 911 in the new Excellence with those in an add. That might work. Anyone know anything about Hamann doing that mod? Looks awesome! In reality though, if i had the cash, i would totally do the Koenigsegg Helix doors. THAT is a visual shock!
