I could be up for a drive out there. I'd just need directions, and everyone praying that my timing belt doesn't let go because its about time for the first retension. (I'd still prefer Rutts Hut though)

Ken, I waited 8 thousand miles to tension mine. (Okay I admit I forgot about it, but remembered when I started to hear wierd slapping sounds from the front of the engine. Turns out it was way off spec but still driveable)

Please come it would be great to have you along.

I'm back from Indiana, I'm up for it probably...no promises though. The car isn't back together yet.

Dave's been real busy at work, pulling 12 hour days. I'll call him and let him know. Andy, the back lot at Starbucks is usually empty, but if we get many cars there is that large lot across the street.

Starbucks is on 'old 24', also known as rt 124 in Madison. You'll take 78 W to 24 W to 124 W, then up through Chatham to Madison, it's right next to a Burger King in the eastbound lane. I'll check the directions before Sat.

8 Thousand! Now that's a man who lives dangerously! It's been alittle over 1000 and I've been on the lookout for the slapping noise but haven't heard anything. I just don't want the belt to let go at an autocross or DE. That would seriously ruin my day! I'll be there, I'll just have to be careful.

Ken,

A thousand miles is too little...I did mine at a little over 2500 miles.

Even with 3 autocrosses down, one more next weekend and possible track days in a month?
