yea i attended the picnic this afternoon, not a drop of rain till the end really and only then it was a few drops. i could be up for this little get together thing, i have to check whats goin on.

Well, I made it to the picnic yesterday: IT DID NOT RAIN WHILE I WAS THERE! It was a small turn out, but enjoyable none the less. Sad to see no other Rennlist representation there...
Lots of pretty cars: several 996 TT's, a brandy-dany new GT3, a speedster (and a speedster replica), some sharks (968's), plenty of 911's & Boxsters, a couple of 968's (including Damien's old coupe), and the 944's were out in full force! (about 1/2 dozen of us were there). I missed the concours, but they had a special lot for the P-cars to park all together.
Psst: Christian: August 17 I'll be at Watkins Glenn with the NNJR DE. Please check the NNJR calendar before making plans!!! That's strike two! GRRR....

Damian: I humbly apologize for the name misspell: it wasn't intentional.
Your old coupe is lookin' mighty fine! It hasn't done any autox or DE events YET, but Walter is planning on 'playing' with it at the NNJR Lime Rock DE this fall. (He's been having too much fun with his race-spec Neon on the track). He has come to autox to spectate with it though...

Ok, how about the NEXT Rennlist NNJR meet be held sometime in September, but NOT on Sept 6th (NNJR AUTOX) or Sept 12-13 (NNJR Lime Rock II DE), or Sept. 20-21 (NNJR Pocono DE).
Anyone have suggestions?!?!

For Sept, looks like the first or second Sunday (7th/14th)...I'm thinking morning coffee meet?? Or brunch (not involving hot dogs) somewhere with a decent parking lot?
