Default Auxiliary Fan Relay

My fan relay didn't pass all the tests outlined on Clark's Garage web site, so I replaced it. I took the cover off the old one just out of curiousity, and found it's quite an impressive collection of electronics... it's practically a work of art! No wonder they're $125 new.

In any case, there doesn't appear to be anything physically wrong with this one. Everything is intact. There are no burned areas, broken wires or leads, weak looking solder joints, etc. When I tested it it worked as it was supposed to for the low speed operation, but not the high speed or air conditioning switch.

Anyone have a procedure for testing the components and getting these back into good operating condition?

Thanks
Ron

My money would be on one of the coil windings being broken. But I wouldn't know exactly how to go about checking the whole relay.

Diodes. Broken traces on the PC board. Coil winding open.
